Warranty Policy

W Music Distribution USA, Inc. – Warranty Policy

General Warranty Terms Products not purchased from an authorized W Music Distribution USA dealer are not eligible for warranty coverage under this policy. Customers must contact their original point of purchase for assistance.  The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser the warranty period is from the original purchase date.

All shipping costs to and from W Music Distribution USA, Inc. for warranty claims is the responsibility of the purchaser.

Important: Please retain your original sales receipt as proof of purchase. It is required to validate your warranty.


Framus & Warwick / Sadowsky Instruments –2-Year Limited Warranty W Music Distribution USA, Inc. warrants Framus, Warwick, and Sadowsky instruments to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the original date of purchase. This warranty is valid only for the original retail purchaser who bought the instrument from an authorized USA dealer.

Electronics and pickups in these instruments are covered under a two (2) year limited warranty. Covered under a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. This warranty excludes damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, moisture, battery leakage, or unauthorized modification.

Gig Bags & Cases – 90-Day Limited Warranty
W Music Distribution USA, Inc. warrants that all included gig bags and cases are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase.
This warranty does not cover cosmetic wear, damage from overloading, zipper or latch failure due to excessive stress, or any issues resulting from misuse, neglect, or modification.

W Music Distribution USA, Inc. reserves the right to inspect and determine whether any defect or damage falls within warranty coverage.

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Instruments not purchased from authorized USA dealers
  • Instruments that have been modified, customized, or serviced by unauthorized persons
  • Instruments with removed or altered serial numbers
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or exposure to extreme conditions
  • Wear and tear, including frets, finish, plating, electronics, and hardware
  • Cosmetic issues, tonal preferences, and wood grain or color variances
  • Finish cracks, warping, or damage from environmental exposure or non-approved products
  • Routine maintenance (setup, string changes, truss rod adjustments)

Shipping charges both ways, permits, and insurance for any instrument sent in for warranty repair are the responsibility of the customer.


Soldered Component Warranty Policy

Due to the sensitive nature of electronic components, all items must be tested prior to soldering or permanent installation.

Once a component has been soldered, modified, or installed, it is no longer eligible for return or warranty coverage, unless the customer can provide clear evidence of a defect prior to installation (e.g., photos, video, or bench test results).

This policy applies to all onboard preamps, wiring kits, retrofit modules, and other user-installed components.

RockBoard Patch Bays/Mods (Patch Bays and MOD units provide structured signal routing on your pedalboard. Some include powered components; others are passive. )

1 Year - Limited Warranty

Manufacturing defects in connectors or wiring, internal soldering or routing issues, faulty or non-functional ports under normal use.

Damage from misuse, overloading, or forcing incorrect cables; wear and tear from repeated insertion/removal; water, heat, or impact damage; modifications or tampering.

Consumables (Items that wear out through normal use, such as Velcro, adhesive strips, and color-coding rings.)

Spare Parts

Warwick Gnome Bass Amps

2 Year - Limited Warranty

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Internal amp circuitry failure, power section defects (under normal voltage), faulty jacks, switches, or controls.

Damage from improper voltage, surge, or incorrect speaker load, cosmetic damage, including wear from use, I Issues caused by moisture, physical impact, or unauthorized repair or normal wear on knobs, jacks, or housing.

Warwick Gnome Cabinet Series  

2 Year - Limited Warranty

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Defective speaker or driver (not due to overpowering or misuse), faulty internal wiring or soldering, manufacturing defects in cabinet housing or grill.

Damage from overpowering or using incorrect amplifier load, cosmetic damage, wear on handles, feet or rubber components, damage from moisture, impact, or modification, use of incompatible or third-party parts, speakers blown due to misuse or overpowering - We reserve the right to be able to inspect the speaker to determine eligibility.

Onboard Electronics / Preamp Systems - Due to the sensitive nature of electronic components, all items must be tested before soldering or installation. Once a product has been soldered, we cannot accept it for return or warranty claim unless clear evidence of pre-solder defect is provided (e.g., photos or bench test results).

2 Year - Limited Warranty

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. preamp circuit failure under proper voltage. defective pots, wiring or capacitors, issues with pre-soldered connections.

Damage due to incorrect installation or soldering, use with incorrect battery voltage or reversed polarity, physical damage to control shafts or PCB modification or unauthorized alterations, damage caused by moisture or improper grounding.

Effects Pedals

1 Year - Limited Warranty

Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. internal circuitry/component failure, footswitch, jack, or control malfunction under normal use, manufacturing defects in assembly or enclosure.

Damage due to incorrect power supply or polarity, cosmetic wear or damage, water/moisture exposure, modifications or attempted repairs, damage from improper cabling or voltage spikes.

 


Warranty Claim Procedure

  1. If your instrument is still within the return window of your authorized dealer, contact them directly for service.
  2. Otherwise, email help@wusamusic.com to initiate a warranty claim. Include a description of the issue, the product serial number, and a copy of your proof of purchase.
  3. You will receive return instructions by email. No product will be accepted without prior authorization. Shipping charges both ways sent in for warranty repair are the responsibility of the customer
  4.  Upon inspection, W Music Distribution USA, Inc., will determine if the issue is covered under warranty and proceed with repair or replacement if applicable. If the issue is not covered, the item will be returned at the purchaser’s expense. If the product has been discontinued and a replacement is not available, W Music Distribution USA, Inc. reserves the right to offer a substitute of equal value, a pro-rated refund, or store credit at its sole discretion.

W Music Distribution USA, Inc. reserves the right to improve, modify, or refine its products without obligation to retrofit previously sold units.
