Advanced Fuzz, Perfect Tonal Precision
The BLACK SWAMP is built to give you proper control over fuzz, not just more of it (though there is plenty on tap). Alongside familiar Gain and Level controls, you get Damping, an active 3 band EQ, and a sweepable Mid Frequency, instead of the normal single “tone” knob found on some fuzzes.
Damping tightens the low end and keeps things defined or muddy depending or your preference, while the Mid Frequency control greatly changes the character while also allowing you to move the fuzz forward in a mix or carve space around other instruments.
The Character switch shifts the overall feel of the circuit from smooth and rounded through to more aggressive, while the Hard Clip switch subtly changes the way the fuzz compresses and breaks up, from softer, more forgiving saturation to a harder, more immediate attack. The BLACK SWAMP can cover many eras of fuzz-laden rock music and holds new tones for coming generations.
